Choose the method of
more advanced management
for
the hygiene of the air systems
Ensuring the safety and hygiene of an air system is complex.
From beyond 20 years, we face this challenge with the equipment, know-how, staff training, quality control systems and post-intervention documentation that have made us the N.1 in Italy.
The Integrated Method of Evaluation, Management and Communication
the aeraulic risk
Alisea manages in an integrated way every aspect deriving from the chemical, physical and microbiological pollution of the air treatment plants, thanks to a tested operating scheme based on three complementary phases. We always start from careful evaluation phase aeraulic risk, which allows us to understand the integrity and operating status of a plant, considering the internal and external environmental conditions.
Next, let’s move on to the management phase, starting from the documents and risk factors that emerged from the analyzes carried out during the evaluation phase, concretely applying the planned actions and documenting each step.
Finally, in Alisea an important emphasis is placed on communication phase addressed to those who carry out activities in direct contact with the plants, in order to present them with the solutions adopted and train them for proper maintenance.
Everything is always carried out by adequately trained and qualified technicians NADCA ASCS (Air System Cleaning Specialist) under the supervision of a person with the highest degree of accreditation NADCA CVI(Certified Ventilation Inspector).
The Evaluation Phase
If a risk is to be managed effectively, it is not possible to do without a complete preliminary assessment of it. The first phase of our procedural process, therefore, is precisely the one in which the risk associated with the use of air treatment systems is assessed. This first phase consists of two different activities:
The Technical-Environmental Analysis
Where 46 risk factors are examined and the contents, methods and timing of the subsequent phases are determined.
The Management Phase
A Risk Management Plan is outlined in the DVR for each plant with all the activities to be carried out.
In this phase we move on to the actual Aeraulic Risk Management Phase, in which these activities will be planned, implemented and documented.
Specifically, the management phase includes:
The Preliminary Technical Inspection of the Plants:
Consisting of hygienic analysis operations, aimed at understanding whether there are chemical, physical or microbiological contaminations inside the plants.
Corrective Actions for Repair and Maintenance:
If provided for by the DVR, these actions are undertaken upstream of any sanitation, so as not to see their effectiveness undermined. In keeping with our high degree of specialization as aeraulic hygienists, we do not deal directly with these actions, but we help in the process of selecting the supplier and checking the interventions.
Corrective Sanitation Actions :
Cleaning and disinfection activities are carried out that are more appropriate to the contamination index detected in the analysis phase, and concern the plant in its entirety.
In particular, the following are carried out:
- Total cleaning and disinfection of the air handling units and any fan-coil units.
- Conservative restoration of all units;
- Total cleaning and disinfection of the internal surfaces of the aeraulic ducts, godsline components and of terminal elements.
At the end, an Final Technical Inspection, during which the analysis operations carried out in the preliminary stage will be repeated, to prove the effects of the interventions.
The Inspection Activities of Periodic Surveillance:
to keep plant contamination under control over time. In compliance with current legislation, the goal is to understand what is the recurrence time of the contamination of a plant.
Every 12 months, the following will take place:
- The Technical Inspection of Periodic Surveillance
- The Visual Inspection of Periodic Surveillance
They can then be combined with a continuous monitoring of the hygienic conditions of the facilities through the our system Remotair®.
The Communication Phase
It is the phase directed to all those subjects who carry out an activity in contact with the air treatment systems (employees, managers, maintenance technicians, etc.), or who reside more or less permanently in the rooms served by the same systems (exposed subjects).
In this phase it is given:
A very wide publicity for the protocol use, at solutions adopted and the results obtained, through specific communications to interested parties, notices, signs to be displayed on the elements of the plants or in places of interest.
A complete training activity directed to these subjects, which is carried out through the organization of Training and Refresher Courses, held by accredited teachers of Alisea.
